Death Cab For Cutie are set to livestream the visual album for their fifth record Plans in honour of its 15th anniversary.
The film, which is called Directions, was released the year after Plans, and features each and every track from the record. Each music video featured in the film was created by a different director.
15 years ago we made our major label debut w/ our fifth studio album Plans.

“15 years ago we made our major label debut with our fifth studio album Plans,” bassist Nick Harmer writes on Twitter. “We told ourselves that it was just another album, that now being on Atlantic Records was no big deal, but it was and we knew it. I think that’s why we chose the barn studio at Long View Farms in Massachusetts, during winter, to isolate ourselves from the pressure and oure fears and just be able to focus on music.”
Directions will be streamed on Death Cab For Cutie’s YouTube channel on Saturday, September 5th from 5:00 PM EST.
