Death Cab for Cutie Premieres “Black Sun” + Announces Tour Dates

Your first taste of Death Cab's upcoming album

Following the news that founding guitarist Chris Walla left the band, the remaining three Death Cab for Cutie members have released a track from their upcoming album, Kintsugi. The band has been playing new music on tour for a while now, but just officially released “Black Sun” today. The ballad still offers a distinct Death Cab sound, but gives us a glimpse into the new, more synthesized direction the band will take without Walla.
