Disney has announced that they will honour the request of a dying Star Wars fan, whose wish is to see The Rise of Skywalker with his son before the movie is released.
A representative for Rowans Hospice in Hampshire, England tweeted that a patient at the facility really wanted to see the film. The caption of the tweet read, “Sadly, time is not on his side for [the release date],” the rep said. “His wish is to see the final Star Wars film #RiseOfSkywalker with his young son. If you know anybody who might be able to make it happen, please share with them.”
Mark Hamill, who plays Luke Skywalker, then responded to Rowans Hospice, suggesting that they make the request to Disney directly. Shortly after, the Chairman and CEO of Disney announced that they were honouring the request of the Star Wars Fan. Check out the tweets, below.
Contact @Disney. They are the only ones who can make this happen. Good luck!
