Disney responds after dying Marvel fan asks to see ‘Avengers: Endgame’ before release

'Disney has reached out and we're discussing options'

Disney has officially reached out to a terminally ill fan who started a campaign to see Avengers: Endgame before the hit flick is released.

The fan, Alexander, went viral because he made “Dying Before April: My Endgame,” a campaign on Reddit because he wants to be able to see Avengers: Endgame, but will likely pass away before April. Many fans tagged directors Joe and Anthony Russo in the post and used #Avengers4Alexander on social media channels.

According to the post, Alexander has liver cancer, mouth cancer, and bone marrow failure because he inherited fancomi anemia, a rare genetic disease that severely affects the production of bone marrow.

“I’m not a child or anyone with a particularly tragic story. Just a normal guy. I’m 33, lost my sister three years ago to the same rare genetic disease it turns out I have too. I’ll leave behind a devoted girlfriend and an adopted greyhound.”

Alexander has just revealed that Disney has actually responded, and they’re looking into options to help him be able to view the film.
