Disneyland’s new ‘Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge’ attraction is open

May the force be with you

It’s NOT a trap!

The first photos of Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge theme park have been released as the park’s grand opening is today!

The 14-acre park is located in Anaheim, California, and another Star Wars themed park is set to open at Disney World in Orlando, Florida on August 29th.

Visitors to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge who come within the first three weeks will only be allotted four hours within the park. The rule is Disney’s attempt to reduce congestion and long lineups, so make sure you plan your trip out to ensure you see it all. As the legendary Jedi Master, Yoda, once said, “Do. Or do not. There is no try.”

The park reportedly cost around $1 billion to build. With rides, attractions, restaurants, shops and so much more, plus, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is also the first Disneyland park to serve alcohol! Since opening its doors in 1955, Disneyland has never sold booze to its guests, until now with the arrival of Oga’s Cantina. So, enjoy those drinks and maybe make it strong with the force.

Whether you are piloting the Millennium Falcon on the Smuggler’s Run ride or facing off with Kylo Ren on the Rise Of The Resistance ride, have fun and may the force be with you!
