After only 100 days in office, Premier Doug Ford has just launched his very own news website.
‘Ontario News Now’ (ONN) is a news site to promote Ford’s own political agenda, and is written by the Ontario PC Caucus themselves. ONN is described as “where you can find all the latest updates on what the Ontario PC Caucus and our leadership is doing to help the people of Ontario.”
ONN went live this morning and was promoted over social media using a video of their own on-air host, Lyndsey Vanstone.
Ontario News Now has a new home at https://t.co/idfUFK7UrR. Over the past few months, hundreds of thousands of viewers have tuned in via social media, and now you will also be able to get all the latest updates from the PC Caucus and our leadership on our new website. #onpoli pic.twitter.com/jswYBNl8zl

Apparently the content is intended to be a hub where viewers can find the latest stories, learn about the caucus, and watch live question periods at Queen’s Park.
As expected, many Toronto residents took to Twitter, calling the site “fake news” and wondering who would be funding ONN.
