Last night was a big night for movie lovers at the 2022 Oscars.
After being pushed back due to COVID-19, the 2022 Oscars took place last night (March 27th) at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre. In terms of nominations, The Power Of The Dog led the pack with 12 nominations, followed closely by Dune with 10 and Belfast with seven.
However, Dune ended up bringing home the most awards, bringing home six awards at the 2022 Oscars. CODA ended up sweeping the bigger awards of the night, including Best Picture and Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Troy Kotsur. The latter marked the first time ever that a deaf male actor won an Oscar.
