In an effort to stop the drug abuse that often happens at EDM festivals, the organizers of the Electric Zoo festival in New York will be forcing patrons to watch the following two minute video clip about the side effects of “Molly”. This comes in as a preventative measure for fans, seeing as two people died at the festival last year, and there seems to be more and more fatalities at EDM festivals and events worldwide.
Electric Zoo founders Laura De Palma and Mike Bindra issued this statement to explain:
Our message to concertgoers is simple: The Electric Zoo experience is exceptional and worth being present for. Molly can cause you to not only miss the moment, alienate your friends and have an overall adverse and unpleasant experience … but can also make you sick and can even be fatal. Fans will experience how great it is to “Come To Life” at one of our concerts from lights, sounds and crowds.
The short video is called Come To Life and is only two minutes long. Check it out below.
