Ellevator share highly anticipated debut album ‘The Words You Spoke Still Move Me’

Hamilton trio Ellevator are back with their highly anticipated debut album, The Words You Spoke Still Move Me, out now via Arts & Crafts.

Produced by Chris Walla, the emotional record sees Ellevator exploring vast sonic territory. Across 12 tracks, the band explores themes of romantic power struggles, longing, and self-discovery. Ultimately, it feels more seasoned than a debut album, as Ellevator deliver an entrancing, genre-bending collection of hypnotic tunes.

“When we started writing we were making a lot of dark, angry music with these very heavy lyrics about Greek tragedies,” guitarist Tyler Bersche explains. Then, as songwriting progressed, the band decided to through it all to the wind and lean into sincere, vulnerable lyricism.
