The second instalment of Arts & Crafts Field Trip has come and gone. What began in 2013 as a one day celebration of A&C’s ten year anniversary has now evolved into a two-day festival with over 25 performers from Canada and abroad performing on two stages. This year’s festival thrilled the crowds with great overall weather, fantastic local food, accessible kids programming (Torq Campbell and kazoos anyone?), and of course – great music. The vibe all weekend long was one of community and friendship, which is fitting considering A&C label-leaders Broken Social Scene’s closing set was essentially a fifteen person musical love-in/jam session.
