First Toronto Snowfall Could Be Happening This Week

Get out your woolly underwear

It’s time to get out your mittens and long underwear because winter is coming.

Environment Canada is predicting the first snowfall of this year might be happening this week. The forecast calls for a 40 percent chance of flurries Thursday, with temperatures reaching -8 degrees Celsius. There’s also a 30 percent chance of snowfall on Friday morning, thought temperatures are expected to be a little warmer.

Snowfall could continue into the weekend, with a 30 percent chance on both Saturday and Sunday night.

Also a friendly reminder, if you haven’t yet done so already it’s the right time to get your winter tire on.
