Five Things To Do In Toronto This Weekend

Great winter festivals happening this weekend

It’s looking like another gorgeous weekend in Toronto, even if it will be cold as heck.

If you’re looking for something to do, keep in mind there will be subway closure one Line 1: from St Clair West to Union Saturday and Sunday, but you may able to catch a Lyft for the same price as TTC fare. So if you’re planning on making the trip out of the warm and into the city this weekend, here’s what’s going on.

See A Show

This friday night you can catch Kimbra at the Mod Club, Zaki Ibrahim at the Rivoli, and Dirty Talk at Unlovable.

Check out the Toronto Light Fest

From January 19th to March 4th, The Distillery District will be hosting their second year of the Toronto Light Fest. Lights go on sundown to 10pm on weekends. Take a stroll through the installations, some of which are interactive pieces! Best of all, entry is free.

Call Me By Your Name

The film Call Me By Your Name has received a ton of critical acclaim. Grab a friend or two, and check it out at TIFF this weekend. Plus, you’ll be indoors and away from the cold.
