It feels like it must have been the coldest week in the city all winter, so it can be pretty easy to want to stay inside and watch Netflix all weekend.
Luckily, there are tons of rad events in Toronto this weekend that are sure to get you out of the house. From a disco themed DJ skate night to an ABBA themed dance party, there are tons of exciting things to do despite the frigid weather.

DJ Skate Nights: Beam Me Up with special guest Automaticamore

DJ Skate Nights at the Natrel Rink is hosting a special edition this weekend in partnership with Beam Me Up. Disco isn’t dead at this Saturday night event where you can rediscover the sounds of the underground party scene where disco was reborn, all while skating (and dancing) along. The party will feature Automaticamore, also known as Diana McNally, who is a Toronto-based DJ and record collector specializing in Italo-Disco.
Catch a Concert
Canadian power pop legends The Pursuit of Happiness will be bringing their tunes to the stage at the Danforth Music Hall on Saturday, January 12th with special guests, Odds. They’ll be playing all of their hit tracks from the 80’s and 90’s such as “I’m An Adult Now” and “She’s So Young.”
Kacey Musgraves is bringing her oh, what a world tour to the Danforth tonight with popular artist Natalie Prass. The release of Musgraves’ latest album Golden Hour marked a huge change in sound, and she’ll be playing tons of her rad new tunes this weekend.
ABBA Dance Party
