Toronto Comicon 2019

Dig into your closet and get out your costumes because this weekend is the Toronto Comicon. The weekend is set to be jam packed with family-friendly fun for all! There will be sections for gaming, sci-fi, anime and, of course, comics! With guests like John Rhys-Davies and Jaleel White, and even a Harry Potter Sorting Hat Ceremony, you won’t want to miss out on the fun at this comic lover extravaganza!

Femme Fest

Craving some positive female vibes? Join the club and head over to Supermarket this Friday for some killer female artists playing all different genres of music all night! Artists like Dalia Dargazli, Imogen-Joy and Wolfgang Gray Trio are gonna bring the house down. Also check out Keenan Ot and her fabulous pottery, along with U9, who will be selling their amazing art at the event!

Catch a Concert

JUNGLE is taking over the Danforth Music Hall this weekend with two shows on Friday and Saturday. It’s going to groovy, with fun chill beats that are going to put you in the best mood. Coming over from the UK, this collective of artists makes amazing and soulful tunes that are sure to shake you to the core.

All Them Witches are coming to rock our world at the Opera House on Saturday night. The band comes from Nashville, Tennessee with their hard rock sound and brotherly bond. It isn’t just rock they belt out, they also add in a bit of psychedelic and space-like sound to their songs to mix it up and create a genre that is entirely their own.

St. Paddy’s: Green Eggs and Beer

Get your green food fix this Saturday with Assembly Chef’s Hall! Start the day off with Bulldog Coffee for a shamrock latte and then Lost Craft Beer comes through with drinks for the rest of the day. This event is FREE, but is expected to fill up fast since it’s first come-first serve, so make sure you get there early! There are a bunch of chefs that will be there, and you can bet that you’re going to want to try them all!
