Canada’s favorite Festival is back! Come join as the Taste of the Danforth celebrates the 26th anniversary of Canada’s largest street Festival on Friday, August 9th to Sunday, August 11th along Danforth Ave from Broadview heading east. Come for the Food, Stay for the Fun! Danforth restaurateurs will be offering $6 “Tasting Menus,” so you can enjoy a multitude of ethnic treats. Experience being ‘Greek for the Day’, at the Greek “plate-breaking” experience and through the Greek Stage.
Catch a Concert
Head to The Drake Underground tonight to catch The Mooks with support from Side Hustle. Toronto-based trio The Mooks combine their jangly power pop sound with spirited melodies and enduring structures to recall a myriad of influences, taking nods from bygone-era rhythm and blues to gleaming indie rock.
There is going to be a HUGE lineup at Budweiser Stage on Sunday, as Beck and Cage The Elephant perform on their Night Running Tour with support from Spoon. Beck and Cage The Elephant are sure to perform their recently released hit “Night Running,” in addition to each of their hit tracks.
Paws in the Park

The Toronto Humane Society is set to host their largest fundraiser, Paws in the Park, on Saturday, August 10th at Woodbine Park! The third annual event will be all about finding homes from some cute canines, and it will feature delicious food, a pet photo booth, a Vendor Village, face painting, dog training sessions, a scavenger hunt, and more.
