The weather’s getting chillier, but that won’t stop Toronto from hosting some amazing events for you to participate!

Although it’s cold, you’ll be sure to leave the house to check out some of these rad activities. With all-you-can-eat burgers, a Bon Iver concert, Nuit Blanche, and a clothing swap, you’ll never run out of things to do this weekend!

Friday Night Live: Nuit Noire

Head to the ROM tonight to take part in Friday Night Live! You can dance, drink, and embrace the night at this week’s themed event, Nuit Noire. With music from Cale Granton, Maylee Todd, D.W. Waterson, Cozmic Cat, and Blood Opera Inc., you’ll be dancing all night long. Also, you can check out the special exhibition, It’s Alive! Classic Horror and Sci-Fi Art from the Kirk Hammett Collection.
 

Burger Drops

Spaces Queen West | October 5th, 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM | Tickets

Head to Spaces Queen West to indulge in unlimited burgers all night long. The Burger Drops pop-up is set to feature special guest George Motz, Emmy Award-winning filmmaker, author, and Hamburger Expert who is bringing his Oklahoma fried onion burgers to Toronto.
 

Catch a Concert

Indie88 proudly presents Thrush Hermit on Friday, October 4th, 2019 at The Danforth Music Hall! You can catch some of their killer tracks like “North Dakota” and “From the Back of the Film.”

Bon Iver is hitting the Scotiabank Arena on Sunday, October 6th, 2019 with FEIST, where he’ll be performing tracks from his recently released record, i, i. The renowned indie artist is sure to be playing a balance of new singles like “Hey, Ma” and older hits like “Skinny Love.”
 

Nuit Blanche 2019

Multiple Venues | October 5th to 6th, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Free

Nuit Blanche is back in Toronto this weekend! Toronto’s Nuit Blanche, which takes place on October 5th, 2019 from 7 pm to 7 am, will be one sleepless night packed with art projects. This year’s festival will feature almost 90 art projects, so it can be difficult to pick which ones to check out. Evergreen’s Drop, Swap & Shop

Head to Evergreen Brick Works this Sunday to participate in a huge item swap! You can bring in up to 20 items in exchange for tickets that you can swap for something new (to you). For every item you drop off, you’ll get one ticket in return that you can redeem for things like clothing, housewares, musical instruments, and children’s toys.
