Toronto Pumpkin Parades 2019

Multiple Venues | November 1st, 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM | Free

Every year on November 1st, Park People run parades across the city, where Torontonians allow their jack-o’-lanterns to shine for one last night of the season. The first pumpkin parade ran in Sorauren Park in 2004, and now there are parades located across the city and throughout Ontario, which you can check out here.
 

Nobis Laundromat Pop-Up Shop

277 Queen St. W | November 1st – 10th | By Donation

Nobis Laundromat is hosting a pop-up shop at 277 Queen St. W where you can donate your clean, gently used coats. For every jacket donated, the laundromat will make a $100 gift toward New Circles, which directs over 300,000 lbs of quality clothing away from the landfill and into the hands of the people who need it most.
 

Catch a Concert

Indie88 proudly welcomes Wintersleep on Friday, November 1st, 2019 at The Great Hall! They’re sure to be playing amazing indie folk tracks from their recently released album In The Land Of, in addition to hits like “Weighty Ghost” and “Amerika.”

Sleater-Kinney will be bringing new tunes from their recently released St. Vincent-produced album The Center Won’t Hold to REBEL on November 3rd, 2019. “We’re always mixing the personal and the political but on this record, despite obviously thinking so much about politics, we were really thinking about the person – ourselves or versions of ourselves or iterations of depression or loneliness – in the middle of chaos,” frontwoman Carrie Brownstein explains of the album in a statement.
 

Drag Brunch at East of Brunswick

The Toronto Downtown Record Show is making its return this Sunday! This time around, they’ll have over 50 tables of records with almost 100,000 records on sale, all from different vendors. They’ll be selling everything from rock to blues to house, and more! If you want a first crack at the bins, you can take part in the early entry at 9:00 AM for $25.
