This weekend, there’s tons of spooky season events to take part in like 80’s themed karaoke, a Beetlejuice screening, or a Howl-O-Ween Toronto Pug Grumble. If you’re not a big Halloween fan, you can catch a show from artists like Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds or The Wombats.

80’s Halloween Karaoke

Beetlejuice 30th Anniversary Screening

The Throwback Cinema at Revue Cinema is presenting a 30th anniversary screening of iconic Halloween flick, Beetlejuice. For the second year in a row, the 1988 Tim Burton classic will be hitting the big screen, featuring dead newlyweds who turn to a “professional bio-exorcist” ghoul named Beetlejuice to drive a couple out of their previous home.

Head to the Danforth Music Hall this Saturday to catch English rock band The Wombats with support from Barns Courtney for an exciting night full of catchy, guitar-driven British pop.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will be hitting the Scotiabank Arena on Sunday with dream-pop openers Cigarettes After Sex, which is sure to be a surreal show filled with Nick Cave’s iconic growling vocals.
You can also catch Lily Allen at the Phoenix Concert Theatre this Sunday, where she will be touring her latest studio album No Shame.
Howl-O-Ween Toronto Pug Grumble

The Toronto Pug Grumble is back and better than ever after teaming up with Unleashed in the City to present a Howl-O-Ween meetup. The party will start at Unleashed in the City and will feature a doggy costume contest with special prizes, a photo booth, awesome giveaways, and more. The event will wrap with a puppy costume parade into the Dog Bowl in Trinity Bellwoods for more snorting and grumbling fun.
Day of the Dead

Evergreen Brick Works will be hosting their 8th annual celebration of Latin American culture on Sunday, October 28th. The Day of the Dead celebration will include traditional Latin activities, fun family events, and tasty food and drinks. The Day of the Dead will merge with the Sunday Artisan Market to feature chefs and artisans from the Latin community.
