We hate to sound like a broken record here, but it looks as though Spring weather has finally arrived. While we understand the temperature could take a dive south in an instant, it doesn’t mean there’s no reason to get outside and take in all this city has to offer. Here are just a couple great things you can do this weekend in Toronto.

Hot Docs
North America’s largest documentary film festival kicked off this week! On now until May 6th, the film festival will be showing over 200 incredible documentary films from across North America. Check out the website for full details!
ROM Spring Fridays
From 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. roam the galleries and check out the newest special exhibitions at the Royal Ontario Museum! There’s also an exclusive c5 lounge open until 10 p.m., where you can treat yourself to drinks, snacks, and performances from live bands.
See The Jays
All weekend long the Toronto Blue Jays will have the home advantage over the Texas Rangers at the Rogers Centre! Tickets are still available for all Friday, Saturday, and Sunday games.
Catch A show
There are lots of concerts happening throughout the city over the weekend! If you’re looking for a best bet, we’d recommend New York-based duo Sofi Tukker as they take over The Danforth Music Hall Saturday night! Tickets are currently sold out on Ticketmaster, but there are still some floating around secondary market sites. Other shows on the radar this Saturday night include No Age at the Rec Room, and Soccer Mommy at Longboat Hall.
Veg Spring Market
Treat yourself with a (relatively) guilt-free snack at the Veg Spring Market! This Sunday, April 29th dozens of local vegetarian vendors will be popping up at Artscape Wychwood Barns. Check here for tickets and full event details.
