Flaming Lips announce new album narrated by Mick Jones of The Clash

'King's Mouth' is set for release on Record Store Day 2019

Flaming Lips have just announced the release of a new album called King’s Mouth, which is set to arrive on Record Store Day 2019, which will be Saturday, April 20th.

The record will include narration from The Clash’s Mick Jones “on almost every song,” frontman Wayne Coyne noted in an Instagram post. Further details on the album are pretty scarce, but King’s Mouth will share the same name as Coyne’s art installation from 2015 that featured unreleased music written solely for the piece.
