Fleet Foxes Announce New Record ‘Crack-Up’, Share “Third of May / Ōdaigahara”

Band kicking off North American tour this summer

For those of you who’ve been waiting six years for Fleet Foxes to release a new record, the day is coming.

Today, the seminal indie-troupe announced their third studio album, Crack-Up, is coming June 16th via Nonesuch records. The band’s frontman, Robin Pecknold has been teasing new material for the past couple months, previously releasing what was thought to be the new album’s cover. The band will go on tour this summer, stopping in Toronto on August 4th.

Fleet Foxes have shared a taste of what’s to come on the full record: a 9-minute long song, titled “Third of May / Ōdaigahara”. Check out the lyric video below, created by Sean Pecknold and Adi Goodrich.
