Halsey has announced that her fourth album is on the way.
Not only is the follow-up to her third album Manic in the works, but she’s got some big name producers on board. Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are joining Halsey as producers on the record. Halsey has shared that it will be called If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power.
Billboards for the upcoming record have showed up in cities around the world on Monday morning. Alongside the giant advertisements, Halsey shared the news on Instagram alongside a clip of a track from the record.
Check out the announcement below.
The eerie, ominous tune is packed with brooding instrumentals as Halsey’s silky vocals take the lead. The dark, cinematic anthem is exactly what you might expect from a track produced by Reznor and Ross.
It looks like this year will be a big one for Halsey, as she recently revealed that she was pregnant with her first child.
Reznor and Ross also recently won the Oscar for Best Original Score with Jon Baptiste for their music on Soul. In January, Reznor and Ross also performed some Bowie tracks like “Fantastic Voyage” and “Fashion” for a livestream celebrating what would have been Bowie’s 74th birthday. You can check that out here.
