Enigmatic R&B artist Frank Ocean has announced Homer, his new “American luxury company.” The company’s first collection is made up of high-end jewellery and printed silk scarves.
Homer “represents carving history into stone,” a press release explains, likely referring to the influential Greek writer. Frank Ocean says that the first collection is inspired by “childhood obsessions” and “heritage as a fantasy.”
The jewellery pieces made of 18K gold, recycled sterling silver, American lab-grown diamonds, and hand-painted enamel. Lab-grown diamonds are a more ethical alternative to mining diamonds. The collection features chains, diamond rings, bracelets, and even tongue rings, all handmade in Italy.
