Frank Ocean’s ‘Endless’ album set to be released on streaming services

Two and a half years after the original release

A few years ago, prior to the release of Blonde, Frank Ocean released his video album Endless. Now, the record will be coming to streaming services according to Billboard.

Since August 18th, 2016, the 45-minute music video has been available on Apple Music, and never had a release as a complete track-by-track album. The record is expected to be available as early as today, but allegedly it may have been delayed and will be available soon. It still remains unclear why the album will be released two and a half years after the video edition.

The black and white clip follows Frank Ocean as he builds an installation in a secret warehouse. It was originally released as an Apple exclusive, containing the first new music from Ocean at the time since 2012’s Channel Orange.

It’s rumoured that the original release was to quickly get Ocean’s final release of his contract with Def Jam out before dropping Blonde.
