The event was originally set to take place on January 31st with Trevor Noah as host, but now it’s being pushed back to a new date that has yet to be confirmed. Sources revealed to both publications that plans were being made for March.
Organizers had initially intended to host the award ceremony in a limited capacity “in and around Downtown Los Angeles” with just performers and presenters in attendance, but now, one in five COVID tests are coming back positive in Los Angeles.
