The Recording Academy has denied the authenticity of a leaked Grammys “winners list” that surfaced on social media.
A video posted to Twitter revealed that Cardi B would win the Record of the Year category for “I Like It,” featuring other rumoured victories such as Lady Gaga winning Song of the Year for “Shallow” from A Star Is Born and Kendrick Lamar and SZA topping the Best Rap/Sung Performance for “All The Stars.”

The head employees at the Recording Academy have denied the claims, explaining that the results for the awards aren’t announced until the day of the ceremony. “GRAMMY Awards results are not shared, even with Recording Academy staff members, until the day of the GRAMMY Awards ceremony, when names of the recipients are delivered by Deloitte in sealed envelopes,” The Academy told PEOPLE.
The leak comes ahead of the ceremony, which is set to take place in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 10th.
