Greyhound Canada to permanently cut all routes and shut down

After operating for over 90 years

Greyhound Canada has officially announced that it will be shutting down all of its operations as of May 13th.

After over 90 years of operation, the company has decided to permanently cut all routes due to ridership declines in Ontario and Quebec.

All Ontario and Quebec routes, excluding Canada – US cross-border services, will permanently end as of midnight tonight.

“We deeply regret the impact this has on our staff and our customers, as well as the communities we have had the privilege of serving for many years,” Greyhound Canada Senior Vice President Stuart Kendrick explains. “A full year without revenue has unfortunately made it impossible to continue operations.”
