After years of hibernation, Grizzly Bear has announced via Twitter that they are starting to record a new album next month. Grizzly Bear hasn’t recorded an album since 2012’s Shields, with performances down to a minimum.
And as it turns out Grizzly Bear also announced that they will be playing their first show in a while at a Bernie Sanders rally this weekend in Brooklyn. In their tweets they endorse Bernie Sanders and reveal that drummer Chris Bear is now a father.

So much news to take in! But remember, if Grizzly Bear hasn’t started recording yet we probably won’t be hearing their new music any time soon. We can only hope… For now, at least we know a new album is in the works!
