Guns N’ Roses invite fans to bash Donald Trump piñata at Mexico City show

It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.

Guns N’ Roses invited fans to bash the hell out of a US president-elect Donald Trump piñata during a show in Mexico City earlier this week.

Frontman Axl Rose, who’s taken his share of shots at Trump in recent weeks, said “Let’s bring up some people, and give them a f***ing stick. I just want you to express yourself, however you feel,” as they took aim at the effigy.

While something feels incredibly wrong about this…it also feels sooo right.

Trump’s campaign was littered with offensive comments about Mexicans. In addition to promising to build a wall along the border, Trump also labelled immigrants from Mexico as “rapists” and criminals.

“When Mexico sends it people, they’re not sending their best,” Trump said in June of 2015. “They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people,”

Guns N’ Roses are currently on their Not In This Lifetime tour, which features the return of original members Slash and Duff McKagan.
