HAIM, Coldplay, Damon Albarn, more to play Glastonbury livestream

The virtual festival takes place on May 22

Glastonbury has announced a ticketed livestream event on May 22nd called Glastonbury Festival Live At Worthy Farm.

The event, which will take place on May 22nd, is set to see performances from big name acts like Coldplay, HAIM, Damon Albarn, IDLES, Jorja Smith, and more. According to The Guardian, the performers waved their fees, as the funds are aimed at supporting the festival and its charities in response to the $6.9 million loss from last year’s last-minute cancellation.

The event will be broadcast as a five or six hour production, all directed by Paul Dugdale. There will be four airings staggered for different timezones, and tickets can be purchased here for $27.50 USD.
