Halsey has shared “Nightmare (Reprise)” and “People Disappear Here” on streaming services.
In 2021, Halsey released If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power. That album boasted two bonus tracks exclusively released on the physical edition. Now, both of those tunes have been released onto streaming services.
“Nightmare (Reprise)” is a new rendition of Halsey’s hit song from 2019. The original version has also been added to the album’s tracklist, but this reprise boasts production from Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Unlike on the Benny Blanco and Cashmere Cat version, this rendition is more synth-driven and gothy.

In addition to “Nightmare (Reprise),” Halsey has also shared “People Disappear Here.” The smokey new downtempo tune comes packed with jazzy pianos and synths.

Upon the release of If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, Halsey explained:
“Everyone’s like, ‘Oh, it’s like this is a girl power album,’ and I’m like, ‘No, it’s not.’ Also, not for nothing, but the lead single is ‘I Am Not a Woman, I’m a God’ — it’s not a girl power album. From the jump, I’m like, ‘I’m not a woman.’ I’m not saying any of that.”
