Halsey sings of life’s twists and turns on new single ‘So Good’

Halsey has shared a video for their new single, “So Good.”

Produced by Tobias Karlsson and Max Martin, the new track is “an honest look at the sometimes circuitous path love takes,” a press release explains. Ultimately, “So Good” is an arena-ready anthem, with an upbeat, explosive chorus. Directed by Halsey’s partner Alev Aydin, the accompanying video is set for release later today.

The song already made waves last week, after Halsey claimed their label wouldn’t release it until they had a viral TikTok moment.

Watch the video for “So Good” below.

“Basically, I have a song that I love that I want to release ASAP, but my record label won’t let me,” Halsey said. “I’ve been in this industry for eight years and I’ve sold over 165 million records and my record company is saying I can’t release it unless they can fake a viral moment on TikTok.”

After recently playing a sold-out show in Toronto, Halsey is continuing on tour, where she’ll likely play “So Good” live. Check out the dates below.
