Today, Hamilton based brewery Collective Arts announced that it intends to launch a series of cannabis and hemp infused drinks in late 2019 across North America. The drinks would be made available through a sister company called Collective Project Limited, pending government approvals for cannabis and hemp products.
Collective Arts has already applied for an R&D License, License for Standard Processing, and a Licence for Sale pursuant to the Cannabis Regulations Ontario, aiming to produce the products at their current facility in Hamilton and a partner facility in the States.

“Collective Arts is committed to producing high-quality, innovative products that we and our community of creatives want to enjoy,” CEO and co-founder of Collective Arts Matt Johnston explains in a statement. “We push the boundaries when it comes to making beer and cider, and now cannabis; creativity, quality, and our relationships with our artists are at the core of what we do.”
The company is also currently in talks with licensed producers and infusion technology providers, with the partnerships to be announced later in 2019.
