Hayley Williams to release new album ‘FLOWERS for VASES / descansos’ on Friday

Less than a year after the release of 'Petals for Armor'

Less than a year after the release of her debut solo album Petals for Armor, Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams has announced that she’s dropping her sophomore album FLOWERS for VASES / descansos (“breaks in Spanish) tomorrow (February 5th).

Williams teased the album by posting the cover artwork on Twitter, which portrays a woman’s body partially submerged underwater, with neon lights glowing beneath the hazy scene.

In an Instagram Story, Williams explains that the forthcoming album, which Williams wrote and performed entirely on her own at her Nashville home, “isn’t really a follow-up to Petals for Armor. If anything, it’s a prequel, or some sort of detour between parts 1 and 2 of Petals.

While not many details have been released, reddit users appear to be speculating that the album will feature 14 songs, including “My Limb,” which Williams hand-delivered to a fan just last week.
