HBO unveils run times of final season episodes of ‘Game of Thrones’

The first episode of season 8 airs on April 14

Get ready, Game of Thrones fans. It’s the final countdown for the eighth and final season, which drops on April 14th, and HBO has just revealed the exact length of the six remaining episodes.

The shortened season will clock in at a total run time of 432 minutes, with the first two episodes of the season running the shortest at 54 and 58 minutes respectively. The season then explodes with its longest episode, which clocks in at a whopping hour and 22 minutes. From then on, episode four will run at an hour and 18 minutes, and the final two episodes of the series are both set to run at about an hour and 20 minutes each.
 

 
Although this is set to be the shortest season yet, it’s still going to clock in at a little over seven hours, falling just behind season seven, which clocked in at about 440 minutes with an additional episode to spare.
