Health Canada has issued a recall on three batches of pre-rolled joints that could be contaminated with yeast, mould, and bacteria.
Two types of Atlas Growers Ltd.’s pre-rolls have been recalled. This applies to Natural History Zour Apples Full Flower Pre-Rolls and Atlas Growers Zour Apples Full Flower Pre-Rolls sold between December 1st, 2020 and last Wednesday. These packs each contain three 0.5 g joints.
According to Health Canada, approximately 11,304 of the packs have been sold in Alberta, the Northwest Territories, and Yukon.

Reportedly, the exposure to yeast, mould and bacteria could cause allergy-like symptoms. These symptoms include coughing, sneezing, wheezing, or watery eyes. While exposure could cause temporary adverse health effects, serious health consequences from exposure are rare.
The recalled lot numbers are P200027, P200044, and P210008. The joints can be returned to the retailer at which the products were purchased, or safely discarded.
Atlas Growers and Health Canada have yet to receive any complaints about the recalled products.
