Reportedly, the exposure to yeast, mould and bacteria could cause allergy-like symptoms. These symptoms include coughing, sneezing, wheezing, or watery eyes. While exposure could cause temporary adverse health effects, serious health consequences from exposure are rare.
The recalled lot numbers are P200027, P200044, and P210008. The joints can be returned to the retailer at which the products were purchased, or safely discarded.
Atlas Growers and Health Canada have yet to receive any complaints about the recalled products.
