Here it is, Bon Iver’s ’22, A Million’ album

Following a pop-up listening party in Eau Claire.

It’s been a long road, but Bon Iver’s new album 22, A Million is finally here.

Yesterday, after the band’s record label Jagjaguwar, teased fans with an unboxing of the record, Justin Vernon announced a string of mysterious pop-up events and themed newspaper handouts in Brooklyn, Paris, Los Angeles and more cities.

The first event was last night in Justin Vernon’s hometown of Eaux Claire, Wisconsin, which was quickly figured out by a team of die-hard fans on reddit. At the Eaux Claire event, fans were gifted with Bon Iver’s new record, which was playing from a boombox.

Fans also received the coveted newspapers that were teased on Instagram earlier this week.

Vernon also played a surprise show in Berlin last night while visiting the city for an event he organized, along side The National’s Aaron and Bryce Dessner, Gayngs’ Ryan Olson, director Vincent Moon, conductor André De Ridder, Brandon Reid, and Berlin’s Michelberger Hotel. Quite the busy schedule.
