Information about a new Star Wars TV series have recently been revealed after Disney has confirmed that the force is coming to a TV screen near you.
Disney is in the process of launching its own streaming service, and has confirmed that they will have Jon Favreau’s new show called The Mandalorian, which is named after Boba Fett’s race from the planet Mandalore.
Favreau has teased that the show won’t focus on the bounty hunter, Boba Fett. It will actually revolve around a gunfighter’s story that takes place in the 30 years between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.
“We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic,” Favreau teases.
It’s even been rumoured that Disney could be handing over $100 million for the show’s production, making it one of the most expensive of all time.
