High Park cherry blossom livestream catches people climbing trees late at night

Two people broke the rules and entered High Park

The City of Toronto officially closed off High Park due to the spread of COVID-19, and as a result, they’ve shared a 24-hour BloomCam so that viewers can watch the progress of the trees’ peak bloom. With the webcam streaming all day and all night, it captured some footage of two residents climbing in the trees late at night.

Twitter user @Im_Sandy_Myself shared screenshots of the footage, which showed two people breaking the rules at 1:47 a.m. inside the park with bicycles. Not only do they make their way through the park, but one of the still unknown residents even climbs a sakura cherry tree.
