Award-winning Halifax alt-rock outfit Hillsburn are the most recent artists to take part in our recurring Live From Home series.

In the performance, the band took to a tight space beneath blue-tinged lighting as they deliver catchy melodies and stunning harmonies, singing lines like, “I just want to get high with you/ Just like we used to do/ I just want to get high with you/ And sleep in the afternoon.”

“It’s about lamenting the inability to tell someone how you feel about them when you’re young and unsure of yourself, and how it feels to watch as that person goes on to half-heartedly pursue the usual life and status milestones that are laid out for us,” guitarist Clayton Burrill explains of the track, according to The East Mag.
