“Hot Star” Taiwanese fried chicken chain comes to Toronto Today

The first North American location of Hot Star, a popular Taiwanese chain-restaurant, has opened up today at Yonge and Gerrard.

The restaurant is famous for selling chicken pieces of ridiculous proportion, nearing up to 30 centimeters in length. One large flattened piece of fried chicken will cost you $9.99, with the option of three flavours: seaweed, pepper salt, or spicy. Other items on the menu include deep fried mushrooms, sweet potatoes, chicken bites, and curly fries. So, are you going to give it a shot? Let us know if it’s worth the hype!
