Netflix’s hit series House of Cards will return to the streaming service for a sixth season later this year. It will feature a different look, one without former star Kevin Spacey. Robin Wright’s Claire Underwood character is set to assume the role of President of the United States as Spacey has been removed amid claims of sexual misconduct.
New President Underwood shared a message on July 4, celebrating Independence Day as the show moves forward. “Happy Independence Day… to me,” Underwood declares in what’s clearly some subtext revolving around the Spacey’s disgraceful exit.
