Robin Wright is set to take centre stage in Season 6 of Netflix’s House of Cards, which hits the streaming service on November 2. In the latest teaser for the upcoming season, we learn that Kevin Spacey’s Frank Underwood is, in fact, dead.
Spacey was fired from the show in November of last year in the wake of Anthony Rapp’s sexual abuse allegations against the actor. In the new teaser, Wright’s Claire Underwood delivers a short monologue at the site of her husband’s burial plot… which happens to be next to his father’s, whom he hated.
“When they bury me, it won’t be in my backyard. And when they pay their respects, they’ll have to wait in line,” Wright’s Claire Underwood says before turning in one of the show’s signature fourth wall breaks.
