IDLES deliver live debut of ‘CRAWLER’ songs at tour opener

IDLES kicked off their tour over the weekend, where they delivered the live debut of several songs from their recent album, CRAWLER

The Bristol punks launched their headlining out of England and Scotland on January 16th with the first of four shows at Brixton Academy. The tour was initially set to take place last May. It was later rescheduled to January 2022 due to COVID-19. During that time, IDLES dropped their raucous fourth record, CRAWLER.

During the Brixton Academy show, IDLES opened with “MTT 420 RR” before playing 7 other CRAWLER tunes. The 90 minute set also baosted a few hits from 2017’s Brutalism, 2018’s Joy As An Act Of Resistance, and 2020’s Ultra Mono.
