Aretha Franklin – “Respect”

We’ve put together a list of the most anticipated films of 2021, which you can check out here, and it features the forthcoming Aretha Franklin biopic, RESPECT. Jennifer Hudson has made her return in what may be her most difficult role yet, Aretha Franklin. The teasers for Respect show the return of Marlon Wayans as Franklin’s manager and husband Ted White, and Marc Maron playing the role of Jerry Wexler. Hudson absolutely kills it in the previews, delivering a stunning rendition of Franklin’s catchy hit, “Respect.” Check out the original tune above!
