Current Swell have released a new video for their gritty indie rock track, “How Many Times.”
The gritty roots rock track comes packed with a powerhouse Black Keys-style guitar line, a driven drum beat, and catchy, grainy vocal lines. The accompanying clip is perfectly quirky, following two men who are bowling nemeses as they gear up for a round. The video is comically serious, as one character torments the other, who trains in his home and ultimately wins the game.
“‘How Many Times’ is one of the most energetic songs on Buffalo and we knew right away it needed a great video that captured its vibe,” the band explains to Indie88. “The guys at ft Langley came up with this bowling alley showdown idea that really nailed the aesthetic of the song and the energy of it, too. We love the way it turned out and its a nice contrast to the more serious and emotional songs/videos from the album.”
