Toronto rock group Day Trip share a riff-heavy, driving new track today titled “Black Wolf.”
Formerly known as Towers, the new music project consists of trio Nathan Jesionka, Thomas Sawa and Scott Hannigan. Their music captures the alive and well Queen street music scene with their “gritty and pretty” indie-infused rock sound.
Day Trip told Indie88 via email their new track is about searching for happiness:
“Outsourcing your happiness to another person or thing when you really have it in your hands all along; it’s a mirage. A lot people chase after things to be happy… in ‘Black Wolf’ we’re saying if you do that, you’ll always be running.”
