Emi Jeen has shared a new video for “Other Side.”
The Aude Guivarc’h-directed video fits the dark, driven tune perfectly, as Jeen dances in a dark room beneath a spotlight, with the floor covered in water.
“Emi originally contacted me to create her music video for ‘Holy Water.’ After listening to the whole EP, I asked her right away if she was open to have me direct a second clip,” Guivarc’h explains. “I had such a strong sense that ‘Holy Water’ and ‘Other Side’ were visually connected that I pitched her the idea of a diptych.”

“In both music videos, the presence of water is an important character of the story,” Guivarc’h continues. “In ‘Holy Water’ and ‘Other Side,’ it is the doorway allowing Emo to travel between two worlds. It gives her strength and confidence. It represents a portal, allowing one’s mind to freely navigate between two perceptions of the same reality. The outer and the inner self within each of us.”
