Indie88 Premiere: Fast Romantics release new track ‘Mexico’

Catch the Fast Romantics at the Horseshoe Tavern on November 23

The Fast Romantics have just released “Mexico,” the first track off of their upcoming 2019 album.

The track is slow, but uplifting and dreamy with silky vocals layered on top of each other and a synth-filled background pushed forward by a steady drum beat.

Frontman Matthew Angus told Indie88 that the song “means a lot to us because of what it’s about: new beginnings. It’s about the very powerful difference between running away from something, as opposed to running towards something new.”

Listen to “Mexico” below.

This track is the band’s first self-produced and self-recorded track, so it holds a special place in their hearts.
