Toronto indie rock band Goodnight, Sunrise have just released their raucous new track “Catch Up.”

The energetic new tune explores the pressure to create a falsely constructed persona on social media in order to meet unrealistic standards. With smooth, catchy vocal lines and a heavy, rambunctious guitar line, you’re sure to have this song on repeat.

Listen to “Catch Up” below.

“‘Catch Up’ is about how fake social media can be and the resulting pressure we often feel to meet impossible standards,” the band explains to Indie88. “We all know how many all-too-perfect Instagram posts are actually carefully crafted and edited, and it often feels like we’re chasing some magical version of ourselves that doesn’t even exist – which can be exhausting!”
